– Miguel Freitas, fashion advisor
What’s your story?
I am a 24 years old guy from Portugal, living in Paris. I wanted to be a lawyer at some point but realised it wasn’t for me so I studied languages and humanities. I am currently working as a store submanager and developing my own clothing label. It’s also the main reason why I got into blogging. After all, I’ve always loved fashion and photography, so thought why not do both.
Who has influenced you the most in your life?
My mother, 100%!
What is the best decision you’ve ever made?
Moving to France, definitely. At least for now.
How would your best friend describe you?
Probably like a crazy visionary who’s always trying to make a difference in the world, and, definitely, ambitious. Actually, I hope he would say so.
How do you stay current?
I try to be on my own path and mix different styles such as sporty, street chic and urban street style.
Where do you shop?
Mostly at Zara, Asos, Bershka etc.
What’s the best style advice you’ve ever heard?
“Be yourself!” For me, it’s a life quote. We have so much to give, so why be like everyone else? Each day I learn something new, and I constantly try to teach and inspire others yet I don’t want them to copy me but to find their own style.
What’s your favourite fragrance?
Invictus by Paco Rabanne.
I love African cuisine, but my current obsession is Thai food.
What are top three songs on your playlist at the moment?
Chris Brown Back To Sleep (original and remix), Rihanna ft. Drake Work and Tyga I $mile, I Cry.
Who should we follow on Instagram?
My great friend @jondealmeida and family @jennyinthebottle_official, both super stylish and inspirational.
What are your plans for 2016?
To launch my brand, open a store and reach 20k or more on Instagram.
